The relationship is between you and the girl you like, It's totally none of the others' business. If you really like her and she likes you as well, then you guys should start.

I have a fd who has a gf which is older than him 5/6yrs  but they still work for more than 4/5 years (untill now and I know that they're planning to get marry) so I reckon there's no problem at all for a girl older than than guy.
