for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......8 I& m1 f" n5 H/ q* W- r; V+ O

it's divided into 2 sections,0 ^7 g6 Y. @6 b4 q/ a
1 is impromptu talk

0 z; T' m8 F3 }all conducted in english! v7 u1 M/ l$ n5 V

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare$ a8 S3 X k* D: ?! ?* y

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 l0 o3 }# |! F: o) B @( S! @+ t
