How about at the hospital?

9 J ]' V$ `/ k7 ~) I/ q8 OI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.7 b/ F; Z! u2 a& B; J) w1 S, K- U5 S

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.' e& s5 y$ [! Y% o" N, c
, M5 p. j" l" K7 PThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
