for the preliminary interview:

5 K. s: ]3 @3 e5 ?there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 I/ r" C- Z; ]' T- Q/ h

$ ^# w: V, d: D" ^- G; b& Y$ h9 hfor the extended interview:7 @" P  o. E# E$ G. ~: c$ ~# l8 H
/ V* u- s. L$ u( W& G: D% }" p. V
it's divided into 2 sections,
: o- X7 ]4 C# n& n4 w0 K/ M$ y1 is impromptu talk5 x* x9 Y7 N# E4 A
another is group discusion
  F4 G4 i5 }& a2 H- T/ X
, X* u; m$ Z1 O( K! {" qall conducted in english
8 w3 s, l; r+ c9 ^5 y
  P! N2 R! e( V) `  n" p0 zimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."
6 p! x5 s$ _) B: n. H6 L( {: U4 r5 }5 M9 `: f/ A. V4 C4 s& x
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion5 I/ N7 y* }  p' \2 i

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!; N  N! [3 ?; S; s# k3 _' M
