for the preliminary interview:

: U0 C$ j7 }0 ]there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......6 }( n  n0 ]1 u" h3 D

for the extended interview:
9 h+ m/ n0 d+ m2 }5 D
( P4 S- m( E! m" Dit's divided into 2 sections,
" C" E4 O9 \$ r) ?* T1 is impromptu talk( {; [+ e, m9 p: p8 U' E1 c% e
another is group discusion2 z% y7 d. F" Y' [

1 y2 E* F; Y1 ~6 s+ g" d( A& yall conducted in english% l; R- }8 H( `8 b0 [% y9 B9 E

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; N; J/ V7 e2 _/ F& O% y/ H

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

, k9 h' P% }+ G4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

8 R+ o* X" N) dthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
