for the preliminary interview:

* O4 c, a1 F, ?0 y" X5 hthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......: x* H/ U; E3 E
) Y; N7 _, e8 I3 H+ ]  S
for the extended interview:: G1 q" |% y0 B& b8 Z
8 W/ p5 J! H4 Q4 t0 l3 ?
it's divided into 2 sections,
1 \- d7 S) S4 l. J" i0 t1 is impromptu talk9 C/ K. d+ s0 }
another is group discusion
7 `( P3 V1 U0 K/ D2 _! c5 l
! Q6 c$ @! ~) l5 s/ d: s$ |( `% {all conducted in english
5 T* C3 J0 I8 q0 w; A/ r3 _/ Y# E" x- S+ Q' D: c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare3 b1 \! t" i: O" ~: K  m

- m% ~. o4 r7 M7 A2 l5 xtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

6 [8 R8 b; \: W; [: pgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
) I# R% T; p! U1 U1 K3 K. h. ~' Z! u$ T6 [! [6 ]

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes4 `8 {: i# U3 X* I% h7 g

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!+ L% o8 h6 }, W" p2 y' ]2 j/ n
