I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.! l8 q' [" Q* r) x
1 Q5 q0 w1 D! M& `3 x7 d1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.( z+ u( P {9 h& F2 D

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.3 ^' H$ w' A) C1 [9 c! y2 M! _, Z+ U

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
