for the preliminary interview:# L1 h% ^  @0 ]
  S8 T8 T/ l2 j( p5 y6 Y
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:9 L& j- W& b: ]; ^# V- F, a
% x7 ^+ R- O1 v1 h- C$ W1 C
it's divided into 2 sections,7 F' j) l2 p0 l& n- \% R" D5 _0 N
1 is impromptu talk
5 F7 u- f( e: F9 u8 Q- manother is group discusion
; k5 a/ f  g! P3 I4 ~+ O
/ m4 z3 V7 ~# z) eall conducted in english
  J% _( I6 `: P2 u. j8 J
: T# {3 o8 I- W+ w3 \  Vimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit....": ~) F  o9 c! Q
4 @9 {) @" m* h) ]! t
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; p3 n) q  p' x. U5 c$ O2 o9 s: s+ `4 i

for final interview:# D& g# L2 |; v/ \. ~- g9 s% A0 M

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes6 K0 S* G; |" s, K

0 v, L2 P) W9 s; Y. \the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!$ f, l. u6 d' ^! B! a9 t
