for the preliminary interview:' M! G) g# x/ W

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......+ P. [& u% ?  C5 Q! I

for the extended interview:

3 s0 J/ O6 z" {( hit's divided into 2 sections,
. A, e9 }2 G4 a' ~1 is impromptu talk
& D' w% u* z* q. d# g; Lanother is group discusion
  R8 O/ d2 u/ u/ H- ?5 W4 O+ V' k# Q8 W
all conducted in english
: U0 i  z3 i! t# N  u; r5 y% z6 M
% `+ t9 y: |5 L7 H2 U# V9 A/ y! e7 Q$ c/ ^impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

9 _( X% n, Q, Pgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 u8 ~% w, f* @" g: W0 R; H

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!" h: Q% K, L6 D& j% R# t5 j
