for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......! k0 n3 y0 G! w" w
4 C! W& s( R  ~; {- n$ f" Y6 \
for the extended interview:

8 ~: ^6 T) B! Q7 M! B9 d5 mit's divided into 2 sections,
& u; E5 ^8 q! A: y1 `) n1 is impromptu talk
4 ~3 t$ |8 j% z! s/ B4 [* hanother is group discusion
% X% [8 A8 O6 v" \
9 U. m, n: g  W  lall conducted in english
9 U& y+ Y0 Y- X/ d- _: l" z5 H- L8 `9 Y
9 |6 T, ^3 Q$ v- g' o- e9 f' [impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& A1 J' [) \& {

7 J! u9 c* U& D9 c% u1 M, d, ygroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

! v* R, |6 u- m8 m( n( a- Nthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
