for the preliminary interview:

, H( _' o9 E# n5 }# v/ Lthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:, A# ~& p3 u1 m- \1 B1 z# }9 U

it's divided into 2 sections,

7 n, K7 I2 K1 m) g# K& i6 J* j0 Manother is group discusion

all conducted in english3 R9 J1 O1 N3 C. G0 a

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare% @7 K; H+ ]6 [
: k) j0 H$ c4 j. Q1 l9 d! ~topic like "environment, biscuit...."
G E1 T' k$ x7 F# o& W# T3 R) G8 P) z! p: l& ~/ a: G
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ l& n" E* ?+ d: E" I) z
