for the preliminary interview:
7 S8 B2 X* @9 j  o9 r' F8 l$ O& [
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
7 B7 d& a0 S# w; W' F" _0 p  W4 n  O: p3 ^! G; H
for the extended interview:9 C* g% y7 Z) ^+ M
% C0 f& w8 j" e7 P3 v
it's divided into 2 sections,
0 J- n% l; s- ~5 Y& s1 is impromptu talk0 p& X3 y/ D( _4 s
another is group discusion: _2 i; \7 x- `' ?5 ]) A
. o# u  N' a8 {4 m7 H
all conducted in english8 `. L2 q. y! D7 E

& o, b: h0 P: O: r. P# g7 ^+ fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

0 k$ P6 v9 j  W& ]/ Y  qgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion1 F6 L2 @$ p" x0 f, I* `3 u

0 S3 R% @, k4 g! w) c( @1 m+ N. K4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
