for the preliminary interview:- X: K. Q/ j( p$ ]9 s7 n
  g" p+ H5 p9 m6 r3 R
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:+ o: R% A) i1 v* y% }# _1 d# b
9 u- |9 y& ]; Z* o; ]
it's divided into 2 sections,, H+ a8 F* I' U: X+ h; D7 ~# \
1 is impromptu talk
' m0 O& u- j0 M$ E/ K; P8 N' tanother is group discusion
* E4 K5 S5 V, J- g( y0 S- [
! B/ I$ T+ t) ^2 S# A1 J/ U5 k7 kall conducted in english, c8 ~! `# O( q: a8 E

* l6 E9 n/ |6 Y. F/ nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

8 a& _6 z6 x0 M- _) C0 J1 c/ E2 d2 Z) ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."; d* U. x9 O1 [/ m3 I

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

: a9 g2 Z" `$ L% l% W$ ~- a; ithe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
