for the preliminary interview:
$ p0 U  j. V; Y7 R9 f) u" z* [, q- U* A
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:$ Y. ~' L, `+ Z" S  Q% G2 j
; B4 \8 I9 t- G: q' p, m  l5 x* [
it's divided into 2 sections,2 r' \8 B) ?- P* s- @
1 is impromptu talk6 F% f& @& @8 e) J
another is group discusion+ K4 u0 z+ _( w  Q: I

+ @% F2 _: i2 a5 p5 h9 call conducted in english( V2 F, R7 J5 w) G, S

5 Q& x8 O+ R8 d; {' D! `impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 _9 D* ]# F3 l7 [

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 Q. }, T  m9 O# }) d: V9 I

for final interview:& p: |  }! U7 n, t

! s3 d! R& L3 ~2 \- ?, C& k4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
