for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......8 Z' G, J1 d3 v( x& [7 x
4 Y! U  L( m5 K+ g+ E- F1 W0 \' A
for the extended interview:1 ~9 M# d* z4 t5 ]. P  |4 `
9 e4 v0 y7 S" l* @
it's divided into 2 sections,6 k; M9 l" I9 @3 Z) ?8 V
1 is impromptu talk
- t; q$ J- {; O9 f$ w) C6 Hanother is group discusion/ h6 C5 [- ]- N) C) a

all conducted in english

2 \! M% S4 P7 |- ?0 fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare6 p& Y7 b3 t2 a8 Z% r: n- |. R9 D% s

topic like "environment, biscuit...."' ?- I: l" d1 g$ x9 N

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion1 z, m: D3 y, O' x2 J$ }

for final interview:

( R8 Z/ Z% H8 l: w/ {# c  `8 Cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!: l6 u" l  Q0 Y1 c
