for the preliminary interview:  @9 h$ t6 s/ L9 t& n% O% m
! M0 X6 ?1 n% U& V! X6 \2 {  T1 a) c
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
/ h1 ^' K+ O. j8 M' q, |/ A) `9 l0 O6 T( E0 @' x5 x( a
for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
: J: v& ]5 c4 d9 r$ Q1 is impromptu talk
* y$ X/ j: w9 m  A7 F% ?7 wanother is group discusion. W4 U+ t, _0 ?3 x9 K, w) ?

8 [# K7 ?0 {6 B+ a: Call conducted in english2 P* i7 E6 T; J4 I: F

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."+ ~) u3 b! i- f8 e

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion1 \; q: U( h0 O% x! a/ Z

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes* T$ z+ B- r2 S/ ]+ z) ^

1 W7 @' Q! a% H+ X+ }/ _+ h( T& v( Uthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
