for the preliminary interview:

% W( x1 Q& s% a  I* A3 _- e5 V& Nthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......$ C4 I+ E' m0 A$ v) \- r

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,; q. t5 F: Q2 x) [
1 is impromptu talk
& O: J' z9 T) M) s& N' S. Kanother is group discusion8 F/ ?5 \  d2 C- J: T3 u2 k& j+ x

all conducted in english1 C: D0 g9 m9 c+ Q9 V4 L. N

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

% g5 [  |% v: T# ?3 ?group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

7 |5 a( G  F+ l1 E# E8 lthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
