for the preliminary interview:

3 f: ?( y. ~) f: |# X: V3 ]there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......+ L' i& f1 |/ r" T
' q  j2 O2 z* Y3 C8 V1 q
for the extended interview:
, i* M5 H, u. Z# B* v/ t7 ~, }* y7 d& ]; q
it's divided into 2 sections,5 ?+ C1 E/ j2 s
1 is impromptu talk# r0 o* w; r) Z- s# U* d3 ?: W
another is group discusion
! h* g$ S4 @3 Y/ @# r: b4 k9 F, B8 u4 h0 U% |# [: X
all conducted in english  A. }1 F5 z0 V2 [3 B9 S; O

- {4 e( H) K- f# t5 r+ e( Fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

- a$ j" Q# A6 v7 m0 w/ jtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

Agroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion' L$ k. l. K9 e# b! A8 i, v

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes4 W* e6 j9 Z3 P+ d7 Z1 m5 ~. t

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
