for the preliminary interview:9 }# o- A8 q: P0 d) F, `1 F

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 `6 e9 d) b3 C# S. v: u

for the extended interview:/ Q7 v$ J) w6 f  I
: Z; b7 W0 d' F8 V0 A' X
it's divided into 2 sections,
' q  O& w9 {# T$ P1 is impromptu talk
3 Y. a8 B+ w( {6 `4 L, p1 Ianother is group discusion% S8 \" g# I% i- T5 q. m

& t2 O3 t: L2 l( kall conducted in english' F3 H! t$ f( r

/ m, V9 i, z7 u) _impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare/ K3 N# D. A+ S- u9 P. k4 m

, i* E  J2 K7 I+ |0 B# Cgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes, z0 B3 Z; X- `6 x  O6 ]6 J

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!" l/ M+ \. ?6 X3 x- R7 f; l6 C% e6 N
