for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
) q/ W# e4 l& q. s4 ~) {. b6 \$ J' K% q0 v5 b
for the extended interview:+ Q/ V; Q! s9 n0 s" B, A+ i7 C
. R3 ^: F+ N1 I" S7 |4 a) J  i
it's divided into 2 sections,2 p& h$ R* A8 O$ w2 ?5 U1 Q  X8 E
1 is impromptu talk
/ F6 D: N, r# g/ T2 eanother is group discusion2 [; p/ p: I! u  U6 @

5 Z7 `2 c& @1 I  }. T+ F- Dall conducted in english
+ E) L  A) v) d. g- A, b5 O6 ^- M3 `/ {9 q5 Z( z4 l
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!) a, x: y1 A/ B: L& W* C* R# S
