there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......8 C; f' S% o0 R/ `* {5 B! w7 J

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion9 i @0 l! ] z1 F9 Q

all conducted in english7 B# F: m6 X! A7 u: D6 Y

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

2 ~: Z" c4 x' A; agroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

) W3 a& l- P7 S) A) j% B7 |4 Kthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
