for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......5 h# A$ D" Z4 n6 {4 G

for the extended interview:

& U) h. l5 m) m; {; f d4 w: V& dit's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion9 S3 ~9 Q3 v k8 S5 U: i( B

5 q0 b S4 w0 r) n! ^impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 Q2 k- O2 N5 j, y3 v
3 ]9 B# T/ J7 L2 l+ F& r% f0 n4 o0 Qgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion% w8 X% C- {. n: X6 }; R

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
