for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

( Y3 [3 G' R. `! K" Kfor the extended interview:( B( X; M1 d1 q; j

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion4 a1 H0 u% g/ F% r; ^$ q

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; T7 \ A: k0 G* I' Y; _
# A# B( E7 L: s. a! M+ X) }, w3 mtopic like "environment, biscuit...."1 x( A/ ]5 _4 \5 Q

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
