for the preliminary interview:

& j8 {6 O0 [: K5 Z, Othere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

' U6 p3 z* ^4 C% }" B/ B7 hfor the extended interview:

! c! D' E2 @$ kit's divided into 2 sections,* h3 l7 H( F) z& G0 ]8 i& q# h5 O
1 is impromptu talk
3 I; K! |# e8 r) Z9 {another is group discusion
* A( c6 D. f* x  s( _3 b' X6 F& L$ G. W0 G! ^
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare. r( j4 o- f6 U5 V7 G' C; h5 {1 M

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

H/ r1 b( x. @6 D9 b! zgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 R: @$ I9 H& _' _' C# E

for final interview:

2 M8 e0 q1 [8 {7 G0 o4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

! q4 Q8 @8 U& ^2 o7 Lthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!+ h* L" K& l! \1 D( I' z2 F
