for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:" Q& ?; U( l' R* @( \

it's divided into 2 sections,

* W$ _' U+ a% n- L2 U% Panother is group discusion
9 l% J* N& E% E/ e0 a" p/ h; q9 H @9 P/ `, R
all conducted in english

3 c8 F2 e) G& i- ?impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare: f4 e% A7 Z/ H2 y8 i

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion5 k* B% n7 W/ O! X0 U

: y/ E( P, \& g% `! Zthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!7 I2 l9 z# P! V) s: w
