for the preliminary interview:. ]# y/ K# [! d$ q
! T( j& Z3 @! m) p- W- V
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:% Y5 v+ \, G- c+ l" I

  U( ~- v+ D- n- e# |6 vit's divided into 2 sections,1 X1 {2 z+ I( J$ R
1 is impromptu talk" Z# `7 }) ]# y
another is group discusion
- Y! t) v# k$ ^* G6 Y! v6 }  {+ \+ @1 A; h
all conducted in english) F, V- X1 A# w' h6 I

3 [" F1 m0 Z1 b( D$ dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

0 ^' l; s3 U. c: J' vgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 V1 [# H2 K* V5 B4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

, B- M* Q2 c, Rthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!8 R' v7 ]1 x; g2 J; W& O5 e
