for the preliminary interview:/ y5 R. @8 T+ f7 \' V8 s

, r- j0 R9 g9 q  @7 Rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......" p, \5 N! d7 `! o  N; V

( q( y5 p8 R0 Ffor the extended interview:
: T% u: O$ v' t9 G5 w# S0 S7 ]+ k+ t" k9 q7 h+ W7 i
it's divided into 2 sections,
6 O# B+ a, t8 M9 u3 ~1 is impromptu talk
3 v2 U8 ^. t0 Oanother is group discusion8 ^! g6 m: e  X0 r9 Q  ^
& J  h8 A* S. S$ d: w
all conducted in english* r1 O' D! ~( o( |8 R1 d8 p* r) U

4 `, h. X# X$ Z; f  fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

  Y/ i/ E* @; Pgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 ~- |9 D8 ]' i# l4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes0 j- @8 r9 u) M2 ~  ^; r8 V; V

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
