for the preliminary interview:

1 w: `6 p9 M8 }7 X6 l3 Y& B4 {there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......0 _5 |5 j/ G9 G. o

% M/ F: S5 K+ V* \# y. X+ t0 R* Q$ A
it's divided into 2 sections,+ c, s7 p) ]. f; V& Z8 R  Z+ C8 b
1 is impromptu talk
) h( |7 Z* o8 o1 x3 qanother is group discusion
$ H2 |$ Q: P  z2 c$ ]' }' r' J" K) r6 g8 G, r
all conducted in english% ^0 c# r: i& a, B# T6 u  s6 a% ]
8 U8 g0 U" K. \% c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
