for the preliminary interview:

& n8 r$ Z1 F. ?, |' Gthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......  _$ U* R/ }4 _7 k/ {, i& M0 H
* w/ {6 x3 B1 j1 x
for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,- ~& H; J" ~  P4 K; e- A
1 is impromptu talk
) e0 v5 n" f: u, o2 qanother is group discusion
! q- i5 N! K: F3 p9 o8 v8 x+ k( q$ z/ I+ |% g) l
all conducted in english) ?' k0 b! b1 C' t! ?, @
1 z1 @( q4 k- W5 V5 j: f
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit....") p5 A. Y- K3 s6 o

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
