for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

* y/ V9 @" R- M6 \9 Uit's divided into 2 sections,
- j9 S% I" J0 P1 is impromptu talk
2 Q Y: d' Y7 X; a7 f* U4 I: fanother is group discusion
3 N& e4 f. b' j5 O2 I; s6 a i4 R4 ^+ C& S8 b2 {
all conducted in english

. ?8 x3 W( \- ]) [: f0 vgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion+ j W+ t4 w* ?) p2 i

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
