for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......) E- b4 H3 Z7 |/ U! Y

5 f& ?; J! }  o$ ], Tfor the extended interview:6 r: J& {- u+ u6 O6 G! x

! K# s+ T' y: Q2 X* qit's divided into 2 sections,
4 F: T/ A2 `  c- O1 is impromptu talk
, e! ?- s- S0 @% M+ z8 [( h  y. uanother is group discusion
* G* Z- k! U1 q( F* f  O$ K7 _" _. B" y2 _, |2 i7 k
all conducted in english

: d+ O$ ]4 U& O8 @' Vimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare! a4 ~8 e/ g1 g. x& L& \8 R5 C

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:% X. D  ^) {: i2 h- E
1 f& M6 ]8 a2 W+ o- H  N3 A/ s
4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

7 @6 Q( O! \2 Q+ q5 [/ ?# sthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!  c+ W  g) \6 ~3 w! M! A
