for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ L& e4 \& k( `
+ H5 o8 Z$ J/ q2 n+ u. h( V# wfor the extended interview:( @3 K4 z5 R" x$ B

it's divided into 2 sections,3 U$ O; D5 `5 v. ^$ e
1 is impromptu talk2 K: L* p$ Q# X9 s- @/ B5 I5 p
another is group discusion# t; q/ N8 q4 e- S3 Y; q4 X

all conducted in english/ L% \8 C2 w$ g9 u& ]

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare B$ y0 \7 _6 x7 {1 v$ q* C

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

8 X k3 c4 c U8 q p9 ygroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion: V+ f7 g# s, F
