for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......2 w; x6 W9 g8 N* t0 Q& E

it's divided into 2 sections,5 D* V( l# f5 R& `8 d
1 is impromptu talk/ Q1 j* f( ?/ K3 }# t: Q( A
another is group discusion- m: F4 j3 E, p

all conducted in english# C5 [1 @7 `& ]5 \0 t5 w
4 {7 ^! U& k" n5 {impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

e2 T/ H/ `3 `the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
