How about at the hospital?

* ` T: q' A! j1 ^1 ?+ E5 TI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

+ i) p2 ~# s8 F. {$ v" ]When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.% r1 p* {6 s; U( p2 i/ a

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
