How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.6 h) z& b- \( b0 E
7 J0 g% ^/ T8 G1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.: c8 j/ [9 G, C9 L7 F! n6 P3 \
4 h( S+ u' r3 ?When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up., b. t& J% Q2 d1 K0 u3 u u
: e( [- n1 f f' C( C, U; tThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
