How about at the hospital?

5 u" ]4 M, |% P5 t/ |9 g) ?; uI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.; q2 n' J: p; ~/ z
- Z! F. j8 o( \& g `1 D" u1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.+ R5 ~4 W% ~3 O [ g9 E
; k G4 l2 f3 Q, h1 b0 gWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
