The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind

& O# A: e( }3 fSo it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia  @& C' S  C8 ~  M  |+ c

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
8 C, z$ B" C& F1 }However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.
# y$ f- _6 |7 ?# BMy ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
& E; N! \5 K/ G1 G* ]/ G' QBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
! R: N; w, D1 OSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living8 n1 |! O* ^! O- ~* `
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel8 V( b. C9 _9 c) `. u: H
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,
0 H) p5 [  A$ W6 T. D9 BPeople are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue
