How about at the hospital?

4 O2 t- |9 T6 A, n6 q7 [$ }7 YI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.; C3 ?; q$ c' L5 r
# a+ a. n0 l2 e! q& g; F' y9 L( N1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.' d+ }5 B# q% A4 c& I% E- ^

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up. a2 E+ h, I# T- {2 M+ V

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
