How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

9 E* e1 a- j* [2 V. x- r1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

) }- B# g; w' l4 l0 eWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.+ p3 u( H2 I' r5 o1 {
, f0 A: V; r, J6 N6 x; Q0 ~The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
