How about at the hospital?

+ @; \. c" t, i. vI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.7 a: y. |$ d( T$ P
4 H& a1 B7 H, R9 E3 E+ P1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.( V! U5 k$ Z2 g6 d* b) ]. c% h

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
