How about at the hospital?

1 [1 F8 p( _' p* \8 V2 V/ xI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

4 P; ]- I1 J* l6 R8 N0 @ e1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.; V9 R! ]# r$ l1 B2 r6 ~" b9 i
* e" J' ^- Q, N5 DWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.$ `$ w" l6 t" i% p
8 p" d |3 J/ QThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
