Valencia might have refused to sell David Villa to Real Madrid so far this summer,
but it appears they are willing to sell them another of their prize assets.
Raul Albiol is apparently close to a move to the Bernabeu and Marca sources claim talks are now at an advanced stage.
The central defender is one of the most highly-rated in the country and it is thought that Manuel Pellegrini is keen to bring him in.
The Chilean coach is yet to see any defensive cover arrive at Madrid and Albiol would be an ideal signing to bolster the ranks.
It is thought that he would cost Madrid around €15 million, a price that compared to those for Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo seems small.
Albiol himself is currently away on international duty with the Spanish squad in South Africa and may well play a part in the semi-final against the United States tomorrow.
The 23-year-old has come up through the ranks at Valencia and has played over 100 times for the first team in his five years there.
He is not the first Che player to be linked with a move to Madrid this summer but it seems as though both David Villa and David Silva will now be staying at the Mestalla after all.

The UK broadsheet The Times has reported that, despite bids for other players, Chelsea are set to make CKSA Moscow winger Yuri Zhirkov their first signing of the summer.

It will end a frustrating start to the transfer window as the club that finished third in the Premier League and seven points behind champions Manchester United last season look to bolster their squad for the upcoming EPL season.

Chelsea have failed to sign any of their transfer targets thus far because of their reluctance to pay what they deem excessive transfer fees or wages, the billions of Roman Abramovich forcing other clubs' demands skywards.

Club officials will hold talks with CSKA in Russia to sign the versatile Zhirkov, who has been valued at €18 million.

The Russia international, who was nominated for European Footballer of the Year last October, is expected to provide both cover and competition for left-winger Florent Malouda.

Everton manager David Moyes could be preparing a bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Alan Hutton.

Reports across the UK press are suggesting Hutton is a target for fellow Scotsman Moyes, who may be prepared to go as high as offering £8 million pounds for his services, though an initial offer of around £5 million is believed to be tabled soon.

Hutton joined Spurs from Rangers for £9m during the January transfer window in 2008 and played a part in helping the club to Carling Cup final victory over Chelsea shortly after.

The Scotland international impressed upon his arrival, but injury has since hampered his progress and he has gone on to make only 25 first team appearances to date.

The right-back could be allowed to leave as Spurs have plenty of competition for the position, with Pascal Chimbonda, Chris Gunter and Vedran Corluka also at the club.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is rumoured to be planning a mass clear-out at White Hart Lane this summer in order to allow for new arrivals.

皇馬還是從華倫西亞挖到了球員，但不是前鋒韋拿，而是中衛艾比奧爾。西班牙埃菲社、《世界報》、《馬卡報》、華倫西亞《省報》等多家媒體証實，皇馬已經與華倫西亞球會就後衛艾比奧爾的轉會基本達成了一致──皇馬出價1500萬歐元將阿爾比奧帶到班拿貝，同時給後者一份稅後年薪200萬歐元，為期5年的合約，艾比奧爾的合約毀約金將是8000萬歐元。
