Thought Carroll was signed as a substitute, but his performance was below the standard....like based on he's first choice goalie in Northern Ireland...and let's pick Van Dee Goew as an example, he was Schmeichal's back up, but he did a better job than Carroll, at least Van was not nervous on the pitch at all~~that's why i say Carroll was a kind of failure capture..

Personally, david May is my least favourite players in Man Utd...he had only played one good season football in Man Utd which was 95-96 season...he's slow paced, slow agility, and with a big belly~~~(I have never seen a professional soccer players with such a big belly~~) i was very scared when he was holding the ball in 99 FA cup final against Newcastle...

i say Forlan was a failure capture becuase he scored his first Man Utd goal after 20 official matches with Man utd....

and probably i had too much expectation from Liam Miller...as he was captured by Man Utd in jan by signing a pre contract...i thought he could have provided a great defense..like Keane..coz he was signed to replace Keane~~
but it turned out he was a mediocre player only~
