Mahamadou Diarra's agent has refuted claims that the Lyon midfielder is in talks with Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Reports in spanish daily newspaper AS had claimed the Mali international was in talks with both clubs but favoured a move to Madrid.

But the player's agent, Frederic Guerra, dismissed the stories.

"I have never spoken to the journalists at AS, nor anyone else," Guerra is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"I don't know how I am supposed to have met the Real management seeing as there isn't one at the moment," he said, referring to Real's current presidential election campaign.

"And to conclude a transfer, the two clubs negotiate the fee amongst themselves without any input from the player's agent.

"I have not had any approaches concerning Mahamadou Diarra from either Real or Manchester."

不過唸反轉頭, 呢個係非常高水平既比賽, 有料既england 球員自然可以立足, 吾夠料既俾人淘汰都係理所當然既事, 好彩英甲既質素都吾錯, 未夠班既可以係英甲磨練一下, 成吾成到名就靠自己.........

英格蘭球員係咁高水平既賽事比賽, 對佢地既技術體力方面一定有好影響

相反, 係啲平平無奇既league 度想發展出超級球星就難啲啦

Treble-winning reserve team captain Markus Neumayr is one of seven players to be released by Manchester United.

The German winger led the Red Devils' second string to the reserve league, cup and shield victories this season, but has been told he can leave after three years as a professional at Old Trafford.

Young hopefuls Mads Timm, Eddie Johnsen, Phil Picken, Tommy Lee and injury-blighted defender Mark Howard will also all be out of contract on June 30.

Picken, 20, has already agreed a permanent move to Chesterfield after impressing on loan at the club this season, and it is expected that the other players will also disseminate through The Football League.

The club also confirmed the release of South African international Quinton Fortune and third year scholar Kyle Moran, who was not offered professional terms.

Manchester City and Bolton Wanderers have been linked with midfielder Fortune, whose career under Sir Alex Ferguson was plagued by injury.
