Sir Alex Ferguson has sent United No.2 Carlos Queiroz on a last-ditch mission to persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford. Queiroz is so close to the winger that United players jokingly refer to him as Ronaldo's Dad, and Ferguson is banking on their relationship to heal the rift caused by the fallout over Wayne Rooney's red card in England's quarter-final defeat to Portugal.

Petit Will Not Move On
Portugal ace Armando Petit has ruled out a move to Manchester United by pledging his future to Benfica. Petit, who scored an own goal as Portugal finished fourth at the World Cup, admits a move to the Premiership is no longer an option. He said: "Manchester United? This is in the past, now I go to continue at Benfica. It is certain that I will stay there."

Real plan smash and Gab for Heinze

Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a ?0million swoop to bring Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze to the Bernabeu.The Spanish giants are reportedly set to swoop for the Argentina World Cup star.

Reports claim Heinze knows about Real's interest, and says he wants to leave for La Liga.

Losing Heinze would be a massive blow for Sir Alex Ferguson, who is already facing the prospect of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo leaving this summer.

Van Nistelrooy looks set to join German giants Bayern Munich while Ronaldo has insisted he fancies a move to Spain and won't see out his four-year contract.

Heinze joined United in the summer of 2004 from French side Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of ?.9million.

He was superb in his first season but missed most of the last campaign because of a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Heinze is just the sort of combative defender new Real coach Fabio Capello loves in his teams.

And the Argentine - a big crowd favourite at Old Trafford - would be the perfect man to shore up the shaky Bernabeu rearguard.

Heinze is one of seven players new Real president Ramon Calderon is hoping to land after his recent election success.

"We have a list of seven names which the management want me to buy and I have the money set aside for all of them," he said.

保方於某一雜誌上已表明唔會加盟英超, 相反皇馬亦因有門神卡斯拿斯的關係而無力與保方談轉會一事, 雖然保方大有可能會加盟同國的AC, 但祖雲斷不會賣球員予其他意甲球會的, 如果卡斯拿斯離開皇馬, 咁…卡比路就可以去同保方斟酌下轉會皇馬一事了, 唸唸下並非完全無可能!!

皇馬班高層是傻的~~
