for the preliminary interview:

5 [7 c3 d" w( p1 Jthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

) u! N  v0 v9 a% }7 V3 Xfor the extended interview:

  f" C8 ]" S' {it's divided into 2 sections,
/ m! b! L: T+ H+ U- G1 is impromptu talk& y0 F, R1 J* _: o! P/ _
another is group discusion/ P9 t) J1 P- p8 d/ c
. U6 O- S+ j: Y7 @) E/ @
all conducted in english. ]- E  ?8 n, y4 l) c0 J( v$ V

# v: `3 A1 q0 l5 A5 S) t- fimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare) l- X/ A1 U3 |6 L9 y% v

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
