飛行員手冊
(雖然是笑話,但有部份卻是事實 ^_^)

Every takeoff is optional. Every landing is mandatory.
每個起飛是自願性的, 每個降落是強迫性的。
　
·Always try to keep the number of landings you make equal the number of take offs you've made.
經常保持降落數目與起飛數目相等。

　
·When in doubt, hold on to your altitude. No-one has ever collided with the sky.
當你覺得混亂時，請保持高度，因爲沒有人跟天空相撞過…
　
·The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival. Large angle of arrival, small probability of survival and vice versa.
生存的機會是跟著陸角度是成反比例的。大的著陸角度，小的生存機會…

　
·There are three simple rules for making a smooth landing. Unfortunately no one knows what they are.
要做出好的降落有三個原則，但不幸地，沒人知道是哪三個…

　
·If you push the stick forward, the houses get bigger. If you pull the stick back, they get smaller... That is, unless you keep pulling the stick all the way back, then they get bigger again.
當你把控制杆推前，房子變大了；當你把控制杆拉後，房子變細了；但當你拉著不放，房子又要變大了。
　
·You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
開始時你有兩個袋，運氣袋裝得滿滿的，經驗袋是空空的。關鍵就在於，在運氣袋變空之前，請把經驗袋裝得滿滿的！
　
·Good judgment comes from experience. Unfortunately, the experience usually comes from bad judgment.
好的判斷來自經驗。很不幸，經驗通常是來自壞的判斷……
　
·The three most useless things to a pilot are the altitude above you, runway behind you and a tenth of a second ago.
對於飛行員來說，最沒用的三件事：在你上面的高度、在你背後的跑道，以及剛過去的十分一秒。(三件事也可以理解為：白白損失的高度，失誤錯過的跑道，以及剛過去的十分一秒。)
　
There are old pilots and there are bold pilots. There are, however, no old bold pilots.
這裏有老飛行員，也有勇敢的飛行員；但是，這裏並沒有勇敢的老飛行員。

Good Landing - “好” 的降落


A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great' landing is one after which they can use the plane again.
一次“好” 的降落，就是說你可以安全步離機艙；一次“極好” 的降落，就是說這架飛機可以再用。


機頭的大風扇
·The propeller is just a big fan in front of the plane used to keep the pilot cool. When it stops, you can actually watch the pilot start sweating.
螺旋漿其實只是一個令飛行員涼快的大風扇，當它停了，基本上你會看到飛行員開始冒汗了…

每次飛行後，飛行員都會留筆記給維修人員，報告機上要修理的地方。以下是飛行員的筆記和維修人員修理後的回答。

(P) = Problem (S) = Solution
(問)= 飛行員投訴 (答) 維修人員的回復

·(P) Left inside tire almost needs replacement.
(S) Almost replaced left inside tire.
(問) 左內機輪快要更換了。
(答) 快更換了左內機輪。

　
·(P) Test flight OK, except auto land very rough.
(S) Auto land not installed on this aircraft.
(問) 試飛成功，但自動降落不太順暢。
(答) 這架飛機並沒有安裝自動降落系統。

　
·(P) # 2 engine seeping fluid.
(S) # 2 engine seepage is normal - # 1 engine lack normal seepage.
(問) 二號發動機漏出液體。
(答) 二號發動機漏出液體是正常的，一號發動機缺乏正常滲漏。

　
·(P) Something loose in cockpit.
(S) Something tightened in cockpit.
(問) 座艙內有些東西松了。
(答) 座艙內有些東西上緊了。

　
·(P) Evidence of leak on right landing gear.
(S) Evidence removed.
(問) 右起落架機輪有漏氣迹象。
(答) 迹象已被清除。

　
·(P) DME volume unbelievably loud.
(S) Volume set to more believable level.
(問) DME音效聲大得不可想像！
(答) 音效被調效至可以想象的程度。

　
·(P) Dead bugs on windshield.
(S) Live bugs on order.
(問) 風擋上有死昆蟲。
(答) 已經再去訂了一些活昆蟲。（就是說”給你換上活的了！”）

　
·(P) Autopilot in altitude hold mode produces a 200 fpm descent.
(S) Cannot reproduce problems on ground.
(問) 自動飛行在固定高度模式令飛機每分鐘自動下降200尺。
(答) 在地上不能重演此錯誤。

　
·(P) IFF inoperative.
(S) IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.
(問) IFF沒有作用。
(答) IFF在關閉時是沒有作用的。

　
·(P) Friction locks cause throttle lever to stick.
(S) That's what they're there for.
(問) 推力杆鎖鎖定了推力位置，不能動。
(答) 推力杆的鎖本來就是爲此而設的。

　
·(P) Number two engine missing.
(S) Engine found on right wing after brief search.
(問) 二號發動機不見了。
(答) 經過在右翼附近簡單的搜尋，找到發動機。

　
·(P) Aircraft handles funny.
(S) Aircraft warned to straighten up, "fly right," and be serious.
(問) 飛機操控很有趣（怪怪的）。
(答) 已經向飛機警告：「認真點！」現在已經正經了。

　
·(P) Target Radar hums.
(S) Reprogrammed Target Radar with the words
(問) 雷達發出嗡嗡聲。
(答) 已經重新設定雷達，改爲人聲。
