在 處 理 曬 傷 的 第 一 步 是 先 控 制 皮 膚 紅 腫 疼 痛 和 痕 癢 ， 常 用 的 藥 品 包 括 一 般 的 止 痛 藥 ， 例 如 ： 非 類 固 醇 類 止 痛 藥 （ NSAIDs ） 和 撲 熱 息 痛 （ Paracetamol ） ， 抗 組 織 胺 藥 （ Antihistamines ） ， 外 用 氫 基 可 體 松 （ Hydrocortisone Topical ） ， 爐 甘 石 液 或 軟 膏 （ Calamine Lotion or Cream ） 和 外 用 蘆 薈 產 品 。 冷 敷 和 用 有 燕 麥 （ Oatmeal ） 的 冷 水 來 浸 洗 都 有 紓 緩 作 用 。 不 過 ， 如 果 曬 傷 的 情 況 嚴 重 和 皮 膚 出 現 細 菌 感 染 ， 就 應 該 尋 求 醫 生 的 診 治 。
