Vieri and Recoba are amongst the players who will surely leave the club in June.
As another disappointing season is drawing to an end, Inter are already planning for next year. Massimo Moratti is intentioned on
taking harsh decisions which will see a revolution in the squad as many players are destined to leave the club to make way for new
ones. Vieri, Recoba, Toldo, Materazzi, Gamarra, Emre, Davids, Van der Meyde, Karagounis, Ze Maria, Coco and Kily will surely depart
this summer as they are not in Mancini’s plans. Julio Cesar, Luizao, Pizarro, Cesar, Makinwa, Taddei and Vucinic are the likely
candidates to replace them. Other players who are under ‘exam’ are captain Javier Zanetti, Favalli and Mihajlovic. The final
league games of this season will decide whether they will remain with the Nerazzurri or not. The only players certain of being
reconfirmed next year are: C. Zanetti, Cambiasso, Stankovic and Veron, as Moratti plans to build the squad around them. |
