car expert please help !! question about lowering car ( change suspension ) !!

if i want to lower my car , how much is suitable ??

i have 1.5 inch in my mind , but want some opinions from u guys !! thanks for the help

have to see what kind of car u've got8 l( k. {# G# s; i
is it a ff, fr 4wd etc... & ?# U# X+ K) r+ e" S
coz it will affect the handling and maintance matter0 a. k: u( C! [7 r
, p* Q0 K& |7 D' |
for safer, a bigger rim has a same effect

and i doesn`t want to make the special move to cross the speed bumps , that is the reason why i ask for the help to see if low 1.5" is suitable or not

u can change ga.....but depends on which arc...3 H  n6 x7 Z5 S  j" L% P( Z
lower suspend will make serious problem on the bottom of car..! z' F1 ]& V+ Y2 I0 d* M" N, I% x% j
but the advantages is better stearing...
% D: A* }% N! s- d( V$ l: nand also...lower suspend will stertch your front bumper..
: u9 K; O/ Y6 E% v- }! q+ _9 ti recommended u increase the air intake and get max preformennce on the engine!

lowering is not a good options...
$ x3 R; D1 z6 i# o. z8 X9 ii would change a big red brambo brake calibra and brake disc instead...: y6 ^' z; ?0 o$ M3 V. k- i
at lease easier to spot and safer
