for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:5 _+ ?* ~# ?9 t1 j" n- E0 `
/ f/ z; T9 c* { s' f$ z" cit's divided into 2 sections,5 a0 |5 Y% z( W# R+ ?! l
1 is impromptu talk/ q/ F6 Q* H5 l; u8 z
another is group discusion

all conducted in english+ F- Y5 V8 s7 `) j9 P `. i+ I

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare v: \8 Q5 w/ z* W7 i6 E. d

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion% Q: W: k9 u& V% y/ k3 l
, K0 q' Y6 R/ ^+ z# a

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
