6 Y; \; K t1 h( `3 QI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

' G! Q+ L' U, E' d1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

& `1 V9 ]& A8 H( [When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.2 }/ I6 ^- l2 W! w4 i7 m* b
) H/ b$ f1 L7 o! _. |6 \* A& Y# E
The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
