How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
" Y( J5 x& n+ e# C8 _: f; u2 ?0 g& u1 ^8 B# R8 E
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.
V# R8 K0 A" E, ]# ^& z3 w7 i6 s. s8 a. Z& H3 V) c( o
When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.* h! @2 K( @% Z. r" \& |8 J
1 @. w; v3 w" Z/ C1 g$ @The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
