for the preliminary interview:
5 P; g) }8 D2 e+ y& s+ F( m1 Y& C3 {/ c3 w7 g) ], B1 L
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:
' n+ O* l/ G7 J- f( H# k& V8 M  `+ Q7 o" Q+ E! d; U0 v1 n$ p
it's divided into 2 sections,
# m1 l/ I; Z, u9 Z5 r- R1 is impromptu talk1 u, R& r) h2 m. n: `
another is group discusion

# f' U, B9 z+ C# a( c4 lall conducted in english
% o* h) [( i6 T; O- s
6 [1 d% q. ^! o+ a: timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

- v, P( Q; d7 V" Q4 ]- M4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!, ~- L# X/ [& ^# N+ C# f9 T
