for the preliminary interview:: X' v+ {; ~# c3 C d* e

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......( b% Z1 P& O, R/ {* @
) V; V8 a. \4 v+ [, L& pfor the extended interview:4 Y/ B- |, B& a3 u( K8 D
# e5 _7 h9 I: Z9 ]it's divided into 2 sections,
0 S$ @# E I5 J! k/ A; z1 is impromptu talk
; X* z& _7 o/ T2 |5 N, Danother is group discusion2 o( H4 W) v% _/ _% F, G
0 J: y/ a6 p0 K- S
all conducted in english

" i* Z1 } D- F7 _- Z c& I% dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare$ j3 M) C- O! ~' M# Z$ Q. @
+ n% _; i8 g' i1 c9 Y- F8 \topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

! R$ c, a; P; N8 _8 |3 ` rthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
