for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......& I5 |, `2 y _! V- o' k$ d

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
. V3 p( ?) A5 T- f1 is impromptu talk9 e' E3 R0 ~* p( I! N
another is group discusion

$ B. v6 K' X6 w, sall conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare5 o7 k `4 L5 {" h

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 ~( }# Y9 `0 r3 l6 u
+ u$ o& B% ^7 [/ K* w
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
