for the preliminary interview:

# O# ~$ L/ D& M7 Bthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

) s9 t3 i7 }' i0 mit's divided into 2 sections,! R5 n! S% o/ w1 h  A: c
1 is impromptu talk+ n; @1 J# ?% O# _; E
another is group discusion

- y7 v  W4 v& x9 z8 qall conducted in english, t5 N1 G* L$ O1 ~6 [
3 H1 d8 P- w, [6 {' f3 @9 O2 c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare; f) @3 M: A/ X0 }

$ ]" u2 A) _1 j' I- s' t' f8 @group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. for final interview:

7 t1 n/ a/ P- ]7 d4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes* b2 Y$ N% C  A' D

  y" ~8 U$ ]+ q4 T; t7 v, tthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!" k' M7 E- \  H! [# l( q  u2 W; e+ U
