! E Y7 F; K+ f w" c1 [! II touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

& |1 e ^# H+ U7 B5 S1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

7 V8 N( X1 P2 U2 O6 L& f# BWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.! ?6 N$ m, P/ j/ L4 f
1 F$ l! g+ j9 V4 B' f& H4 WThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
