car expert please help !! question about lowering car ( change suspension ) !!

if i want to lower my car , how much is suitable ??
& M# ?4 W# w+ T7 w; j) ]6 u4 Z  v# x  Q0 y9 ~' M- q
i have 1.5 inch in my mind , but want some opinions from u guys !! thanks for the help

have to see what kind of car u've got% m- n* L8 m9 i* J+ K
is it a ff, fr 4wd etc...   S, c$ R, J% B+ P# q9 h$ P
coz it will affect the handling and maintance matter
* e1 }& f4 z5 f- F9 I
2 n4 J6 J5 H* u5 \: _; T* |for safer, a bigger rim has a same effect

and i doesn`t want to make the special move to cross the speed bumps , that is the reason why i ask for the help to see if low 1.5" is suitable or not

u can change ga.....but depends on which arc...7 A4 C8 q9 S, l' i* k
lower suspend will make serious problem on the bottom of car..4 R( f' h& S; s$ P8 e
but the advantages is better stearing...
. q* ]; `2 j6 ]& Z; ?5 vand also...lower suspend will stertch your front bumper..  Y/ N  X# O& P* {: R/ Z  X0 x
i recommended u increase the air intake and get max preformennce on the engine!

lowering is not a good options...& y- {2 f; }7 _) T  C( I4 m
i would change a big red brambo brake calibra and brake disc instead...
; z0 S( A9 W! S5 ~& Jat lease easier to spot and safer
