:.... note:  it takes 2 hours of driving from my house to york...

i take the bus... 53.... and change to 60.... and arrive to york...: z& u% a' V5 o2 P" F6 R2 l

around 2 hours drive ~><~....

if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster.... * M1 s" n1 `5 o$ D5 Y3 g

/ j, k% o8 I% v. Nusually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University....
% X" n5 z4 {" i6 b1 _1 k+ h+ G5 iYork Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University.....
; q; U! {( a" R  c1 ^- t  s, `; O6 o2 ]3 e
try to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....4 I  P: `; O4 [* K( ~" k+ k! ~! Y
I use the same way as you to get to York too
