if you have someone to drive you to GO station at Kennedy and 407 or up to Town Centre Blvd... it may be faster....

. [( c7 j  P; o5 w- i1 Rusually a friend of mine goes to GO station at Kennedy and 407 for GO Bus to York University....
! l( b; B4 j" sYork Region has a new Bus route from Town Centre Blvd ( Warden and Hwy7) and goes  to York University as the last stop... i don't know the fare of that, because i used to drive myself to York University.....

4 ]+ c* X" I8 J! I% R) ytry to look for these method, it may be faster by a bit.... but i am a bit outdated, you better research it....; M2 z% P/ Q% _1 C, k4 g

it shouldn't take you 2 hours to get to York....
! _% r1 x/ U9 _I use the same way as you to get to York too
