The 11-year-old medium sulphur-crested cockatoo lifts his legs, squawks and bobs his head, flashing his bright yellow crest to the beat of the boy band's "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." He even takes a bow with a vigorous bob of his head at the end of the 1997 pop tune., s" ~4 P! W: l0 X5 H g* q

When Snowball was given to a bird rescue shelter a few months ago, the man included the CD and instructions to watch his reaction. \9 M- Y! V% ]# `( u0 u5 f [) N0 `' | s" p3 E
Irena Schulz said she almost fainted at the sight. 7 v" t* ~% [- Z3 [5 h1 x. [# @. F8 u# I
"I'm thinking, 'What on earth is this? This is unreal,"' said Irena, who runs Bird Lovers Only Rescue with her husband, Chuck. . e/ a5 `* l4 i/ X; V3 M& k! ?4 i7 u
The couple said they have been contacted by people from around the world who have watched Snowball on the video-sharing website YouTube. , y# ^% e# F( a# w+ i8 v* B ; ~' W% A$ w9 {1 g( ?The northwestern Indiana couple have more than 30 birds in their home and many are available for adoption. "He makes a great spokesbird for the rescue," Chuck Schulz said.- r% _: a* _# a$ O0 ~' I$ M
