a ftp server depends on what the specs is of the server its self... and also the internet connection speed (more directing upload speed for a server), if that is high its faster yes, but a ftp server is normally faster then the most download thingys, but to many ppls on the same time connecting to ur ftp server will makes it slow, just like normal

its most likely that if u r going to use a dynamic ip... u will have/need a server to produce the dynamic ip and further more u may also have to set ur proxy adres on ur client for going on inet for much more protection... to use a proxy adres u need it configured in the server itself, depends what os server u r going to use ^_^, but it wont be so much diffrent of diffrent versions, like windows 2000 server & windows 2003 server
