' Q' g- q2 E, w: `9 t0 uI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

( P% f# I1 i$ I1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.2 v5 u' ? ?' Q4 F: ] E
$ _1 ]0 G4 s( q$ m( N6 P; KWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up., d* V4 p. p: Y" ~. j, |" h. U
: y' f1 R, V0 C. ^2 j5 N- B, pThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
