How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

9 p- D+ W; A6 z) Y9 L6 N6 j1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.* H j( p0 P0 p3 }" x* T

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.
