I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history./ {. k! x4 \. P
I was looking outside.

) q0 a9 V) f6 v( dActually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979.

* Y6 V' Q+ c' L( o7 T3 VThen I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.
6 c  Z% E/ ]  I4 L! ^% K+ T4 g5 aI.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours)
% n+ z8 l1 D: q! y: p% N$ TMore horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.. E$ Z2 W! o, v$ Q1 \! Q5 z
I.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.+ L1 T1 Q4 K9 B- j3 l

But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night.) O+ s* U  ^; ?  x
