I remember when I was 3 years old, Yes, 3 years old, I checked back the history.

5 W3 T$ i. p6 I! {$ K, A) Yand I saw some people were drinking champagne, celebrating something in a MTR train.
( O/ J2 S4 a1 v7 q6 M8 }and they were dressing nicely.
5 q! Y: J# j3 F: k4 Y5 d! |Actually, that's the opening party for MTR trains in 1979., V4 S! @" M d/ B: W" [( C; z" R

Then I got nightmares everyday, cos the railway track...is just about 40m away from my home.
9 T. f9 h4 v: W! |" ]5 @) V1 KI.e. I heard the noise from MTR trains in every 2 mins (or less in peak hours)
/ ^/ b, g. ]. L( k/ {! q g) ?More horrible thing was: my living place was closing to the exit for the train depot.
7 a7 k- X. Z+ V& u4 [; I. m# _: `I.e. when the trains are finished at 1am in the morning, I still need to hear the noise from trains until 2am every morning, and I heard the noise from the train before 5.45am in 3 hours later.1 r6 i) L0 Y) h

But if that's track work at overnight, i.e. you couldn't sleep for whole night. _+ G$ _5 r- s$ {5 X
