D70s with the kit lense (18-70mm) is around CAD$1550.... nikon has a 70-300 lense for $169 at black's. plus an extra battery and a tripod, you are all set....4 G; E# F9 V4 a2 M% l

you can also add the 50mm F1.8 for $179 at henry's
