for the preliminary interview:: D- j" M; }1 ~

1 N5 K+ S% n, u* \' q1 i3 Y3 B; m4 }there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......  @9 J* u9 z, h$ d4 y. Y8 x. X- H

for the extended interview:4 E% u  U9 E$ [8 [% a: }2 P
3 G7 a, n6 I! F5 E
it's divided into 2 sections,- n$ \, g- {$ S1 @7 _
1 is impromptu talk2 |$ i# G9 p3 v9 @5 M
another is group discusion

- o& I$ f6 i" x- I6 G+ x: qall conducted in english* h* p6 I$ v" f; h& p- _) K
, H# I0 m& p4 E9 J
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

( \+ ~$ p& |8 Y; P5 H0 C, _topic like "environment, biscuit...."/ y: Z1 x& E/ P4 }- V- t. g5 y

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

3 l1 N  R( X& D9 K0 q4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
