nearly all the buses (Golden colour buses) are low platform buses!!!
) c: S% u$ _% \) q) dWhite colour/non air-cond buses are called "platform buses"% U& Y( a8 `* d: a8 ?, x4 S3 L
it's because you need to walk a step up when you catch a bus

The first photo is Dennis Trident 12M, with Citybus,one of the low platform bus model0 q% X: O" `2 F( B: X% t
The second one is Leyland Olympain 12M, with "platform bus"; Y, u8 Q' \$ h' G3 W
See clearly, that's 2 step if you go inside the bus.
