How about at the hospital?

; V; b6 g, z5 _9 x, c2 Q# d" n9 u9 f! kI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

8 O* s. l$ n8 Q K z/ n, c1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it." o7 {% c+ J4 ^9 E# X0 X9 y
5 e$ {: Q/ _' }6 i$ yWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
