How about at the hospital?

2 u: ?* x7 {! s+ C6 OI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
& h+ C; [- _; b" N+ T+ ]" P) o- P% E/ i! \# y, u
1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

/ o# J$ i$ V# t: ^0 G$ HThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
