for the preliminary interview:

0 l5 n. ?1 k/ F% m! P5 Mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:: V" t$ \3 o. ~, Y% e+ U

" Z6 c7 }& I1 b# q5 }it's divided into 2 sections,
+ F" F2 C* ]( ~1 is impromptu talk) ]* N; X6 _6 H& D7 T6 s- M
another is group discusion

$ T% G  E, C( hall conducted in english
' n5 \8 k1 |. y2 A, a  i& u: B& O8 q2 Q0 g  _  l6 f. m2 c
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare$ {  Z9 H! x/ \" r+ {, O

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; N0 L4 }: _6 m. i
