for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......8 S/ N/ N3 h# g" k

for the extended interview:$ g$ K. `( K! a. G! a* ?
2 n/ i" t0 v# n4 `& d/ H
it's divided into 2 sections,
+ H1 d8 L& j, a" z1 ]; ~1 is impromptu talk
- j7 q$ D7 s, q& |% u( yanother is group discusion9 G$ Z- V6 n1 g. b! y. h: [& ^, ~

" a3 ?/ b: X+ }7 b5 G8 M2 l% f/ Fall conducted in english$ n0 N: n% y! L) E4 c

5 m, ]4 a* `1 h7 N7 V5 pimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare5 [8 s# p; m5 v; p; b1 H! h
& ~! T" [: C9 I# C- Z2 e
topic like "environment, biscuit...."7 O. y" y, K7 g" M) W5 N7 \& g! u

* ?# c) O! ?+ K4 kgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion; C0 ^/ z8 [2 D0 g+ n5 U) M3 ?' o

for final interview:' n  e, I* q, `) K- F4 k

9 g5 T  y; f. @5 i8 ~  C* w4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
