for the preliminary interview:& m& m3 Q  i  X$ E+ {# I8 z
7 k& Y/ W$ ^# ~; Y; w! m
there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......
9 p& u# u- d4 {+ K! t5 c5 j0 q0 M, E7 ~# n5 P
for the extended interview:& ~% ]0 k+ Y9 \+ p
% _- p) N# X" _
it's divided into 2 sections,0 E: I8 E& n, Q, V0 m
1 is impromptu talk- G7 _2 J- i1 ?& `
another is group discusion. @3 _0 G, g+ @

1 M, r( D% S& a2 [+ l6 fall conducted in english' H9 b6 v! s7 M
3 f- N# _& `  k$ r
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare, R4 _& z6 @  K

0 L  i, T7 r3 a2 ~topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion1 A. m# |- |* K5 u/ d
& J) ~! u( m9 q: c) s$ V
