for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

* W' M% ^7 {+ Q" z8 B, j9 Ffor the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,: A/ J) I# D' _+ e" _
1 is impromptu talk7 Z3 [ o, n& s
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 D* A D8 c, V/ M& f
0 T% @7 I) g; x. V# f* u: b! Gtopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
