How about at the hospital?

5 d# {/ C; n, ^5 V( HI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.
! b2 _ C! c+ u+ K% o8 n$ u
2 Y: _ h7 U" }0 q" U1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.+ K; O' O& s; |2 r' R9 [+ ^

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.& o9 e/ @/ b8 \2 `: b

The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
