How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.2 ^3 k& U* b1 a F+ x- U5 T
/ D( E! i4 x. \! T8 f7 m7 L7 PWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.1 {: u/ N) R/ q; d9 H
9 w' Y' P; Z1 G; Q8 G/ BThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
