How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.# }% P r' q5 _4 a
$ X- S' b5 D1 b+ h+ T4 K1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.. x3 z2 G; g f1 B
! P" U) Y: o' J" W: t$ x- }When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.6 c+ b5 O* M7 D7 J5 H% g
1 q7 J$ `/ C6 E7 _9 y* f6 PThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
