2 k2 Z) \! h4 E, k7 l8 qI touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc./ k9 }: d9 E" X. j( T

1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.

/ K7 S! O0 N& I+ ?1 W1 X8 m- nWhen I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.

: C$ T7 K: d5 o7 }The ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
