The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

What government, world city are too unreal to me. H6 T) _* s* @& T7 n- R
Everyone got a different ideal Hong Kong in mind
( a: s; x- A) H! V" N4 j, BI have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese! E6 {) W' ?& {. Q( z
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia

First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low
6 J9 p  M0 [  I9 A% b% F& |9 S! KHowever, the style and quality are must worse than Japan.7 }4 d+ V! D, H2 _  ?5 L# P
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
  e& L6 W" {2 Z8 Q; A4 EBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
, y! M7 k0 Z8 E' zSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living8 H( Y( h7 J: i
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel* P6 \0 q3 c* T  @, n  J% D) C
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,
5 d) ^8 t/ {) C/ DPeople are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK. & ]/ X1 ]- ^) v- z2 p, c4 C
My ideal Hong Kong is more land, more house0 k, d' x% t. a/ v) }7 {9 V. x

  x+ W$ K6 u. Q% h; l& bAll other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue: N* t  X1 o' ^* o$ \( h- z
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.

But in my ideal Hong Kong, Hong Kong must be the most population
