The ideal Hong Kong can be very simply.

I have stayed in Australia for many years and my girlfriend is Japanese% r/ x+ _' M1 k) g. B
So it's hardly to avoid comparing Hong Kong, Japan and Australia- [4 F& v: `, c& K& N' O
- ^- k5 H) B' |+ z( t) z" v
First of all, Hong Kong is famous for shopping, becuase the selling is extremely low8 \3 K: t: U: j
However, the style and quality are must worse than Japan./ I/ E4 z3 f: _* J: |
My ideal Hong Kong is keeping low selling price but improve quality and style of the goods and service. This is very very hard to achieve.
0 f, r/ C: @% f) UBut that is ok, we are just talking ideal. Ideal doesn't have to be achievable
. V+ ^. C/ r5 W% OSecondly, the Salary are very high in Japan. High salary improve stardard of living- M" ?# p. @  Y- t
So, people eat better, wear better, and even go for treavel! }3 R( ^5 g& W
Thridly, Australia has huge area of land, hardly any to see buildings,
( H' Q2 q4 h: c0 }" S. a! CPeople are living a house. A house is hardly any to see in HK.

All other thing between people, I respect this is unique Hong Kong cultue, N3 e: Z( o1 R7 L' G* q
In my ideal Hong Kong, the attitude are still the same, such as MK style.

堅持留下香港, 而家一齊共患難,將來一齊共富貴(心靈上的富貴都夠架啦)
