How about at the hospital?

I touch dead bodies all the time...cancer, surgerical, etc.9 t( `1 J+ t2 U$ E$ h
" `% X. V) G+ i& Q1 w1/2 hr after dead, the body will lose the bounce and starting to feel like cold meat. It's kind of disgusting but after a while I am okay with it.4 n. y, @1 h. v& P

When I touch the deceased, I kept telling myself this is not a person anymore, the person is gone and this (the body) is just the shell. If I know the patient well, I would even quietly say goodbye to him/her before the nurses come and pack him/her up.- l+ D$ v0 ~! t, q7 e1 O
3 Z) U0 p3 |; c; AThe ones with accidents in the ER are really bad, but we're too busy trying to save him/her to pause and think. |
