for the preliminary interview:

5 _$ J9 H8 l$ s& L* W& c# cthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:# X$ p+ |! H$ k/ i( F
! |; q" ]8 w: U1 k, l: H
it's divided into 2 sections,' k8 e! F, }; _ @% a- Z- E
1 is impromptu talk, J* |! S; }' u' v6 m( D
another is group discusion8 q- z1 H# i5 U' d9 k
+ [" g/ I, v2 O
all conducted in english

" y) h& f A5 `2 j& x* ~/ n1 iimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare$ T* \0 a5 T" l- ?6 d, S

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

! p! ? N2 f1 Othe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
