for the preliminary interview:$ }& e+ D e. Z9 w* w* i

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......* Z/ X( Z3 D' J

for the extended interview: R' ^1 ?6 h; u. @7 z

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion

2 O+ Y7 t$ f& A) j* Vall conducted in english

; q; v; k% d, j8 ~- ^. \5 qimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare o/ M8 v, \/ [" f* `& e
( u8 ~1 H6 s- J: Xtopic like "environment, biscuit...."% k1 l) U% k* m- |5 R/ m
( T- }. a& g' D+ b3 G1 ]group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ i( S' S& |& g- C' S8 s* m

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
