for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:4 d) [* _6 `3 Z( E5 z H- Z; Y

it's divided into 2 sections,
$ Z" ^6 c r ^1 is impromptu talk& N [- e, K( `7 ?6 O8 K
another is group discusion: a9 d C* z! b) q+ J
" t# V% \7 o z2 I. q( G* k# K3 Uall conducted in english5 L' z! I6 y4 H7 b4 S
0 m; V0 \3 H- `. T9 nimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion, m8 ^5 w: J% N% [4 f3 z

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!; {9 b" b9 e( G2 U' w! f% ?$ Y% ^
