for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......* a; J) R& }5 _: r

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,* D/ |. X9 r: ]+ }9 Y' ?
1 is impromptu talk

& o$ w! Y) Z0 a; dall conducted in english6 F' R2 \0 ^& x
4 V( M6 T7 Z& `9 \impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare0 i" }3 b1 q ^7 ] }
$ M O+ P) Y% ^# o, }topic like "environment, biscuit...."- g6 a/ f7 a3 @' V5 H8 ?
/ |2 Z, Z, u9 z/ Ugroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

5 C6 k- f% _" x( U" M8 z1 _6 lthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
