for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:5 Q: q- m6 U o P# d# b

it's divided into 2 sections,
6 k6 H5 s$ p3 |1 is impromptu talk
5 ^+ H' _# S3 v) s v2 ]. Qanother is group discusion
# B# e& _5 b. e# c& T+ o8 o s$ E
4 s& N9 e3 m% Z! T, Oall conducted in english$ A+ J0 V+ {9 I( Y/ Z
' }. j6 r" m/ ?3 G9 @1 pimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

/ j* ~ X% w# q( X: A5 gtopic like "environment, biscuit...."" }! l/ d4 Y' `0 p
/ l! X! M) b0 k2 K$ _
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!2 n4 v/ _1 O6 s9 U* n
