for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc....../ e4 y( L$ ~( T+ b

for the extended interview:

another is group discusion

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 I' E, T$ w# {: ^: e9 a, v
$ r) J6 O( ?5 P4 f" ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

2 ^' D& O; d, i) wthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
