for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:# e# E8 ?+ W: j0 `
0 j" Y( l2 P; q/ q2 E$ S6 k
it's divided into 2 sections,4 D* Z- c' y0 r/ d# F
1 is impromptu talk& e0 w3 k' f' @" i5 g0 j. U4 s+ ^
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

9 Z5 x; h1 V4 h9 t/ J7 F) z3 Ggroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:, K% ~. l+ F$ w# j8 }/ S

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
