for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......0 d% Y/ r% B3 Q! S

it's divided into 2 sections,

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare' }9 ]. `: |; {: d& b3 s/ F% M

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

+ @' Z7 o( A+ I# T6 U0 U3 ^group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 O# w& [2 M8 T9 o* Y* h" X
