for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......; z9 q; w' M9 t$ O: G, E

- ~2 g8 D1 `- Mit's divided into 2 sections,: |8 U; ~7 u! p! y# e' K0 W

another is group discusion

( X/ w* ~1 N% y* p' h7 Xall conducted in english

+ m; y6 v0 A% _& n! a! iimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& t: ~+ p8 i4 z8 w3 d

topic like "environment, biscuit...."# P7 r) b1 K1 a* N- y }, f5 }
) t9 W" S( w* q/ s% Z- I7 s! D
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
