for the preliminary interview:

' W) q/ ^4 f5 z$ j4 y7 N" Q0 \% Cthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:7 q) J- ]: }+ t& P7 K
1 N! R% `7 l7 G* j/ U. C9 ]it's divided into 2 sections,
6 Z6 c8 b4 C( H6 E7 h [1 is impromptu talk3 a/ T' q7 F5 u& H
another is group discusion
3 h. Y# o2 w+ |. n( E" Q% b5 m5 f7 x' ]& w1 p( ~ b2 K9 P. N7 z
all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

6 I2 d2 ?' ^! _8 b" @: Ngroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

5 J, B y/ H/ athe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
