for the preliminary interview:

4 i' z% h' I+ H0 `& b) k" \there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......1 F6 f: l' A2 I, h

for the extended interview:$ R* l; I$ ~+ f9 U/ }

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion

all conducted in english! b5 w) j, M: H7 X3 s Q
* g, r, N- o9 e8 ]; \" dimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare7 o4 D4 O/ i5 b0 k( [6 F. t
( @; ?( i; v1 r+ |; h+ M, [topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion$ \7 a9 o8 E4 v: X: C0 X. ^

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
