for the preliminary interview:

Kthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......& ?- L6 \& x. v. 1 is impromptu talk/ y, B1 }( X8 k3 w. @! d
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare1 E9 F8 U( |9 t% L: X& x# c
, c h% u, J/ O3 G8 atopic like "environment, biscuit...."5 A) h' L; }& ]; Q/ Z3 Y

O( {1 O" Vgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion8 K8 D$ \8 Q+ E

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

5 Y. @. _+ O$ F" L0 u" [: Mthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
