for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:2 m' u& H6 U1 r0 P* w4 R5 @" i3 N
/ r9 f, M6 k& `0 D0 I2 D+ P6 c
it's divided into 2 sections,
% P x& @1 N0 H$ c, m1 Z1 is impromptu talk' n+ z% \# p! ?9 |
another is group discusion. Z/ [: U3 r; O$ r

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare* Q7 P2 D8 B* {* U! K
0 a+ |# k- X; a: C& {topic like "environment, biscuit...."0 E9 A( O0 _( ^$ U' [
( W) l% K$ [7 U, `: r8 P7 xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion. x& ?! \3 p% M; i( E

for final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
