for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......4 n. A. i+ Z6 y3 i- S. m9 C/ x; y0 K4 \

: ~9 V' Y' l2 [$ S- s' }6 K: ~it's divided into 2 sections,

6 }! ^( \% O3 z' N nanother is group discusion

all conducted in english
1 N, @3 b, c/ ?7 n1 _5 [ K+ m- C% i9 e3 ? _
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

* U* j# ?1 u0 o: P' ~topic like "environment, biscuit...."# [0 o/ M9 s& v
9 Q1 b4 [1 B% B% s0 bgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
