for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

1 N+ t' l* T; O; Ofor the extended interview:. v+ T2 Q# C4 |& {

it's divided into 2 sections,: f1 d4 @) @5 Y) v
1 is impromptu talk3 M2 V0 [$ Z- L0 ?4 x, v
another is group discusion

all conducted in english4 J) G% r7 a0 q" W% m( M6 Y& N+ C6 I! H
3 m b+ h0 n4 Rimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare5 j; i3 f( ^/ @
8 i; g. L0 h4 ^$ Q) W9 r& b$ d9 Ttopic like "environment, biscuit...."

9 X' a- ~" ?8 i9 m( ggroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

* [( d* C/ @" I) @) o2 t: bthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
