for the preliminary interview:

; n7 b* F# i) Z) C* f1 qthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,

1 A! q5 b4 o. v1 a, ~ Uanother is group discusion

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 f8 g* B Z3 L2 l* u
9 x r: D, q4 Y4 rtopic like "environment, biscuit...."
3 P2 m& y. C/ L/ T) Q, o. c% Y; O! x+ e& \: j2 W# v. u
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion% ~' i* s0 @& s O9 u/ K- g

& o3 Y$ m+ Y' p$ i# x8 O1 f
for final interview:$ S F) k# \9 k4 J" G

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

: M \: x& H; x$ S/ Z& J$ c* F% C+ cthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!3 l+ z9 z& a* H7 @; n
