for the preliminary interview:

1 [ S# h7 |' s2 cthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion* R# L5 `, Z6 s0 b; h4 X% f
* A6 R* a# C6 p7 j! r6 n( D0 z$ e0 }all conducted in english, y$ ^+ [+ {* j8 ^: d0 [6 o

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

; N$ G& S- d* _1 a* Y: Etopic like "environment, biscuit...."2 A: g, F; v$ E! j2 {9 P! \
' v* w% Z5 u# ^. @" z7 A4 Jgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

+ w3 ~7 ?* B2 pthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
