for the preliminary interview:

* K& e) ^; @- y8 S( x/ g" F2 @2 Wthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......9 a/ c \3 `" K" V! |7 A+ F

it's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion

( A# \7 t$ G5 gall conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare2 |- r+ z; Y5 ^

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 }0 n; X% x: M( V

O0 `2 {0 `) u( g+ Z2 xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion) I5 s l+ k( j

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
