for the preliminary interview:

F9 b& m, n( Dthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,2 X5 l! k, v/ j0 w6 y7 h/ n
1 is impromptu talk( y; u' U, K' |' X
another is group discusion6 [1 B, W% E* u# I$ m, \$ v

all conducted in english$ C+ B/ d+ m _" K" J
9 o6 i0 M$ ]4 vimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
& M" b' @5 x3 @3 y& C0 `' Y$ M5 {# s: F: ]2 e
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion7 T1 I5 S4 J& C- w# ^$ A* @
