for the preliminary interview:. z6 X- o9 Q1 j- f: r

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

, X: ^$ R& b4 e) U$ d, |8 Ffor the extended interview:( K3 m/ g0 m* w1 D

it's divided into 2 sections,
+ W( X; g* d* ~1 is impromptu talk
; Y( ]* s. L" X9 r5 @3 J) \another is group discusion
8 C- v1 N8 F' m @) v4 }: W# T7 M# v7 X+ e: j. N
all conducted in english; r& B7 E/ R3 o- s$ M

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

. n) S- a/ U) H8 ?% htopic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion4 O& M$ m, {! k

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
