for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:$ q; c* C0 I i' Q6 s- c* {

it's divided into 2 sections,

* W0 l; |1 ? l% o0 manother is group discusion, y% [# S, A/ z# T2 |

all conducted in english7 w0 B" P9 W5 @* t$ o$ n
, D+ k" |! S3 ?- s3 c& timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare8 E4 F# O8 _4 M) v$ y6 p
! a9 z) x- B r- q% x# }5 z8 C) c' _topic like "environment, biscuit...."

, F/ M3 T4 `# kgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

[( G* m/ G# \3 @) O( h4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
