for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,

all conducted in english

& w9 b3 E; ]( k( ^' wimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare( W* G/ z$ T8 x2 T! c e7 G9 e& ~8 C

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 x. ^7 {0 w: G( ]* g+ ~4 M
6 y' Z) B0 W0 R- f, [group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 }, D- [0 g' X6 L1 \+ ~ t
