for the preliminary interview:: {! z$ Y- d2 F: F: q

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

/ w; i' Y; T, [0 i2 S( cit's divided into 2 sections,
3 n+ J: a+ @4 D( ?1 is impromptu talk+ F1 n% V t g* N
another is group discusion% x+ j$ R$ `# J1 u9 y1 G( C# O
: D0 O8 g. W) ?& p$ Z5 W
all conducted in english" U+ ~- r! L6 m/ d9 D

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare7 l6 q$ P/ ]1 U

topic like "environment, biscuit...."
& g4 G- | f' Y! A4 Y0 R5 ~) a- b" d8 b& ^% z* |+ G
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
