for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......& R9 b/ U* Y; E: w u
% b* W1 c, B) r9 d, N* vfor the extended interview:. g$ C3 |6 u6 |: H! [/ @; y3 Z
! o. P1 M* P" V- c/ h
it's divided into 2 sections,$ n6 T6 o* [/ j/ ?) A
1 is impromptu talk5 Y) _7 s% e+ _$ G0 ~+ W8 v) Z
another is group discusion

all conducted in english+ P! g3 ]+ v( v' V2 l8 w: L

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare! P& m2 d4 E9 g, T( y9 K* V7 w

topic like "environment, biscuit...."9 ?6 ^ E$ Q& O
# N# k7 A' o: t" S' _
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

, w' t9 U0 x6 Z: Kthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
