for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

1 W' S, |( E4 cit's divided into 2 sections,

another is group discusion$ N; |: x1 F0 B( M+ ~, Y

all conducted in english: O9 @( J! u f# g* O% g

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 Q( D! x" |3 @( r
3 g7 i1 Q# k1 u9 }3 qtopic like "environment, biscuit...." i! X6 i7 o: l5 H, `1 E6 L3 ] R4 g

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion/ d/ n0 G9 g5 f' W) j

for final interview:

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
