for the preliminary interview:

* Z' K# D s& x0 uthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

it's divided into 2 sections,; u0 `8 t, |1 O& l: D1 Q+ C
1 is impromptu talk

all conducted in english M4 e9 W, L! t$ k: r
x& M8 `' e) j& L& limpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."1 V+ F7 y' t) L) J
# S0 i7 ^* R% E+ }group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion% b% M4 K7 H! the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!1 i. w4 q9 Z* }# L7 L
