for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:6 t' U9 Z1 d3 A/ ~3 j
& m4 R4 K6 M# Z- s# s, \# t7 w: E3 Pit's divided into 2 sections,
5 O) X) i/ q- Y. O7 M1 is impromptu talk
2 ~6 T" Y5 _( |* ]another is group discusion% T8 S9 d! ^" K, u% E

all conducted in english* i% w$ b& D6 t% I

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare9 c8 Q4 L7 }8 s9 z/ O

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 U" A) r0 V% |8 Q8 q

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
