for the preliminary interview:

) o' ~1 v. i% `1 o% N6 a, mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

1 is impromptu talk
3 a5 S8 D; X3 eanother is group discusion

all conducted in english, R/ c6 E) F. C8 r- }
) i; R, f+ `; F& Z
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."5 W' O; z( l+ r, j% U: c: P' w; ?

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
