for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......3 z0 x9 Y2 w/ i4 g$ |0 f; B

for the extended interview:# R X1 P: k( s; X' L. q: B4 C: p% ^

it's divided into 2 sections,' x( G5 W1 N9 X
1 is impromptu talk+ F9 q- J: D8 ~, d/ m/ @. c
another is group discusion

all conducted in english

, P, M5 @( K3 H9 T, timpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...." K* i2 a C ^9 h( {
: S5 z" s. c O$ dgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 p9 B7 K: B1 x* a D2 j
3 I: F& ?* r- x! v$ f3 @& y& x' F# S9 R2 M" L. @
for final interview:

+ E- K5 E8 L* Y! i. K4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes; G6 O F5 v5 d, \# }0 B2 k9 y
: f3 L/ U" J2 f. F8 |- rthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
