for the preliminary interview:% X# C( k9 E) f

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......, @3 O' ^1 j& `0 r, c

for the extended interview:
1 a+ n' y! ?0 G. m. w9 H" t# U9 _+ N+ Q# U8 d( f) r \8 W
it's divided into 2 sections,
1 e: B8 U6 t. ~9 Q# M1 is impromptu talk
9 {& w. K) R) N2 |# Ganother is group discusion: Q6 _. l( r0 d0 G Y! x
+ G X% N2 j, b7 ?! M
all conducted in english

* \. M3 s2 o2 @impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare! u4 _: L) i8 u" S
% Y7 i/ D+ O5 jtopic like "environment, biscuit...."( a) @! ?' B, V6 z
% ]+ |; k0 k$ A% q5 d
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

for final interview:

4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

1 N% R$ v* \6 c+ o; o8 Qthe format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
