for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,+ O" Q% i! }* f8 c# B; v2 V3 v
1 is impromptu talk

all conducted in english

impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare4 }* C3 n( M9 F6 |7 p5 r& u; J

topic like "environment, biscuit...."3 W0 u h3 n: X0 ~
: u" a) Q; }8 W6 x; Xgroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion( Q: |" p) W/ }$ f! j! h& c, C

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
