for the preliminary interview:

% o. K4 m6 Q5 }0 v, e" J0 Rthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

1 is impromptu talk. S3 m* m. K; P( t, `* _
another is group discusion

) h; ]( T4 O; x0 B* s2 B5 x+ Sall conducted in english

2 g3 w6 Q$ ]. I2 q2 yimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare5 I( Y; t3 y7 \/ F' O" D' L
3 k2 p% e7 G" {topic like "environment, biscuit....") h' t, C/ F. k
# h+ k( s+ |! u$ K2 w8 \0 s) @group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 k2 D- q, G/ b4 D

; \3 J( c. b; r% e7 r7 d4 @the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
