for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......- k; A3 ?5 l! ^

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,
* L% p: F; A" e1 W4 d1 is impromptu talk
u- Y) N$ g/ J! B6 K4 vanother is group discusion
' R) g5 X8 f; M: @4 i" C
0 L; G) Y4 k& o$ K( yall conducted in english' o9 F. a1 e4 N0 N
6 n1 M8 ~ h. p' e( B8 T4 {impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

5 W& M; S& a% o7 jtopic like "environment, biscuit...."* w+ _- Z4 q( L4 y N# {. H

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
