for the preliminary interview:9 l# A; k5 L9 s& _7 z
7 Q+ v' L9 d6 D$ K4 ithere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,$ k& U6 E ]8 h
1 is impromptu talk8 k: j* Q/ _5 U* c! m
another is group discusion

' U3 ]) a8 Z+ f3 }all conducted in english! V. e2 ~% A/ o# P4 g4 |% Y, Z/ P
3 L5 e8 `+ S- [) t9 w5 \: R8 mimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare

topic like "environment, biscuit...."

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion3 i, c, U1 c9 ~5 v9 E8 C) b

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
