for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

3 V4 O6 D, p1 B' ~for the extended interview:
% ~3 X, k L( m& Z3 C2 Z# y' Y( U9 ]+ D+ V4 A
it's divided into 2 sections,
k7 M5 J# @3 C7 U2 ^1 is impromptu talk5 g9 r+ {& @- Z/ c; Y
another is group discusion4 _1 q8 p* F# K. J) b4 [% b# \
- D! a# S8 {6 D3 s9 B
all conducted in english( B0 g ~" L' @% X9 a
% {& P& G& s0 C1 M6 j% Q' U
impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare
# c7 {: ~' |8 y6 B. [& y2 v; J( `1 W+ X( S- m0 y7 ~6 A% f
topic like "environment, biscuit...."

# ]# f9 L- _- f0 y# q# C9 o- ggroup discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion
