for the preliminary interview:

there will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......

for the extended interview:

another is group discusion

2 R2 K4 ~5 O% [3 y' J' Q! ?impromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare& n, m6 f& {) x) d
# R5 S$ D! ^; A4 j Qtopic like "environment, biscuit...."% M) K/ }6 @ j& N

group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion2 i% I% S6 \1 ]. s8 h, K3 Z

for final interview: L2 X9 H* F' }9 U; O. n8 `
) q" h4 }% a" E* U) M; K4 R. t: `4 ppl sitting in front of you, 1 is secretary only for dropping minutes

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
