for the preliminary interview:0 V4 @( Y9 k. Q
% Z; v) M+ g$ [. Mthere will be 3 ppl sitting in front of you, (just like a board interview) asking u question relating to current affairs, the government, the immigration department and the reasons why u want to join, and how capable you r to take up that position etc......2 B0 v8 }1 y( S5 v

for the extended interview:

it's divided into 2 sections,

) ?; e8 z- o% B- w8 N0 ~another is group discusion

7 `3 i' [, N6 ]3 P* Q- d6 \all conducted in english8 `8 ^* u1 X6 V, W1 c5 l
! O" u& ]0 m1 r( v B4 s( kimpromptu talk requires u to talk on a particular "word" or "picture" which is randomly choosed for 3 minutes with only a few seconds to prepare) } [# J: \# j* F; |- _
" F4 H1 W* [ W8 Xtopic like "environment, biscuit...."5 i+ A4 `- a+ c# }7 U
b0 F6 R5 Y' I& R) D
group discusion is just like a normal way of discusion, each candidate has a chance to speak for 1-2 minutes, and after the 1st round, those volunteered candidates can talk for some more times to supplement their points or to refute other ppl's point without coming up with a conclusion1 d2 x x9 X* p+ p! R( R

the format is just like prelim in, but of course, the requirement to pass is much higher and the questions r much trickier!
